A poignant and exceptionally rare LP (estimated pressing of 100 or less) commemorates the life of John Gilbert, a talented young musician tragically lost in a car accident at the age of 17 in 1971. Self-pressed by his family in 1972, the record features a collection of intimate home recordings. Side A showcases John’s solo guitar and vocal talents, while Side B presents him collaborating with his band, Meade River (comprised of Gilbert, Brett Barker, and John Whalen).
